We began in 1980 with the desire to create and operate a successful business while rearing our two small children. We recognized the need for a fresh food express; a place where homemade food could be served fast while meeting the needs of healthy and active lifestyles. We created a warm and inviting atmosphere where our customers would feel at home.
After months of searching, then finding a site, we realized we had plenty of desire but short of money. By putting a second mortgage on our house and relying on friends' generosity we opened the first My Friend's Place, finding a niche between the area's fast-food and white-tablecloth restaurants. Looking to name our new venture, we wanted to honor the people who helped make it happen and "My Friend's Place" was born.
From the early days of offering our homemade Egg, Chicken, and Tuna Salad, My Friend's Place has evolved. We continue to refine our menu through experience. We make certain that each item offered is not just good, but fantastic. Our excellent reputation is built on efficient, friendly service and healthy fresh food.
Thanks to hard work, great food and dedicated 'friends', MFP has prospered.
