Local sandwich chain opens stores 22 and 23 in first 3 weeks of the New Year.
(January 31, 2003, Atlanta, Georgia) Rosalind Katz, vice-president of My Friend's Place is pleased to announce the opening of 2 new stores, number 22 opened January 15th near Delk and Franklin Rd. in Marietta, and number 23 in Gainesville, on the square. Dave and Rosalind Katz, the Franchisors and Founders of the 23 sandwich shop chain are still very much hands on with their business, and have been since 1980.
My Friend's Place specializes in pita and traditional deli sandwiches, soups, salads and homemade desserts, and has had a loyal following of customers since their first store in the Sandy Springs market.
My Friend’s Place at Newmarket Parkway, in Marietta, is just off Franklin Rd., at 2121 Newmarket Parkway, Suite 110. My Friend’s Place at Gainesville Square in Gainesville is located in a creatively innovative restoration of an old JC Penney space that has been transformed into a fun and inviting mini mall of small, one of a kind shops called Main Street Market. The newest My
Friend’s Place owners are Alisa Brown and Paul Love, business partners and friends. John Thomas, the Sales and Marketing Vice President said this store is just outside of the metro Atlanta area, and he is thrilled to bring quality lunches and corporate catering to the Gainesville market.
